Beginning of 2021, the success of TEC led to being acquired by Liquid Web who is committed to funding TEC as it evolves. Wordpress in general has a VERY committed user base. A vast majority of website developers rely on WP and its plug-ins when building websites for clients. With TEC we cater to this audience, but also cater to the vast majority of event owners who are looking for a powerful tool to run their events. As WP grows into the website editor space, becoming more accessible to to the end user and more user friendly, we have built processes within the product team to keep our rank as the most used events calendar on WP. When covid hit, we had to pivot quickly to transform our product into the virtual event space which enabled us to not only survive covid, but become even more robust.
